What it’s actually like to live in Meridian.
Meridian is what happens when a farm town becomes the center of a booming valley. It sits right on I-84 between Boise and Nampa, which is exactly why it’s become one of the fastest-growing cities in Idaho. You can reach almost anywhere in the metro in twenty minutes.
The pull is obvious: mostly newer homes in master-planned neighborhoods, West Ada schools, and more park, splash pad and playground per capita than just about anywhere. The Village at Meridian gives the city a real center of gravity for shopping, dinner and a movie. The trade-off is growth itself: new subdivisions, busy arterials and construction are part of daily life here.
