Alyssa is Idaho born and bred: raised in Boise’s North End, with a father whose family farmed the ground in Eagle where Eagle High School stands today. She taught physical education for 23 years before real estate, and it shows in how she works — patient, direct, and generous with what she knows. Shannon Allen
REALTOR®, Idaho license #SP33315. Investment property, multifamily, and anything where the numbers have to work before the feelings do.
Shannon has been a REALTOR® since 2006 and came to real estate the long way around: teaching fifth grade, flying as a flight attendant, then property management and commercial investing. That background is her edge — she reads a house, and a deal, from every angle. Single-family rentals through duplex, triplex and fourplex are her specialty, and she will run the numbers before you fall in love with the kitchen.
Off the clock she is outdoors — hiking, rafting, gardening — and active in the Boise school district. Her email handle has been livehereboise for years. We just made it official.

How we work
We are Ramsey Trusted agents, which comes with one rule we take seriously: your financial peace comes before our commission. In practice that means straight answers about what you can afford, and about what you should not buy even when you can.
It also means we will tell you when the answer is no. When a house is wrong for you, when the price is wrong, when waiting is better than listing — those conversations cost us money in the short term and they are the reason people send us their friends.
What you can check
Everything on this site is sourced. The neighborhood guides carry market figures from the Redfin Data Center, demographics from the U.S. Census ACS five-year estimates, school data from NCES, and drive times computed from OpenStreetMap routing — each with the source named on the page. Where we do not know something, the page says so.
Our closed transactions are listed publicly on the home page: 46 homes between 2006 and 2026, across Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Garden City, Nampa, Caldwell, Mountain Home, Fruitland, Donnelly and Gardena. Idaho is a non-disclosure state, so sale prices are not public record and we do not publish them.
